Happy 31st!

Yesterday (Saturday) was the hubs' 31st birthday. Since the boys are really into birthday parties and don't understand the concept of what they call real vs. fake birthdays (your actual birthday and the day you celebrate), they wanted to have his birthday on Friday. So about a week ago when we were in Walmart for I don't remember what, we picked up plates, napkins and a birthday banner. I intended to get balloons but that never happened. Anyway, Chris is very blah about his birthday and wouldn't care if we did nothing for it. But I made his favorite, enchiladas, and I made chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter icing. I also made a few with buttercream icing for the boys-they are not adventurous eaters. I think it all turned out pretty well. My parents and brother came to dinner with us, we celebrated with his parents and brother and sister in law and their kids today because they were all out of town for my nephew's all star tournament.
